Wainfleet Motels & Restaurant

Where you’d least expect it, this place attracts weekend cottagers alongside local greenhouse farmers who happily sneak into booths to order the grilled chicken breast with lemon-shallot jus. Sri-Lankan born Chef Eddy Arulanantham, who studied culinary arts in France, is now the owner of Wainfleet Motels & Restaurant.  The Mushroom, Spinach and Cheddar omelet is outstanding.  Fresh button mushrooms and spinach are sautéed and wrapped in a moist, silky omelet that Julia Child would be proud of.  This is one of the few places that offer a house salad with breakfast entrees in lieu of greasy home fries.
