Suzie couldn’t stand to go one more Dutch dinner without dessert. She figured, if she can’t find good gluten free desserts to buy, she would bake them herself. So good they were, that she decided to start selling them at the Grimsby Thursday night market. So popular they were, that Suzie couldn’t keep up with demand. More had to be made. More gluten free palates needed to be satisfied.
Finally, Suzie opened up the Gluten Free Kitchen (cue the charming red brick house). She grinds her own rice on a stone mill for the freshest of flour, earning her serious baker cred. Her sweets, cheesecake, brownies and cupcakes are heavenly, and her loaves and baguettes are legendary; products sell out fast. Frozen items support local suppliers such as Chili made with organic meat from Our Gate to Your Plate, and pantry products (coffee, soy sauce etc) stock the shelves.
