Silks is a suitable beginning, or affordable slow-down finish to a weekend jaunt in wine country. Drawn in by the promise of $3.49 breakfast before 11:30 am, Silks is exactly what you’d expect to find from a good old-fashioned diner; ample seating, fast, friendly service, unending cups of hot coffee and big portions of bacon and eggs, served just how you like it.

Able to handle high volumes with ease, the superbly laid-back server informs that the name Silks was probably a reference to the Silky horses that grazed in the area many moons ago.  Big screen t.v.’s, viewed from any spot in the room, and being open until 1 am signal that this diner is a night-stop too.

Breakfast from $5 – 10
Lunch $8 – 15
