San Marco’s

Finish a visit to Port Colborne’s marina, or historic West St. with a divine Italian dining experience.   Casual enough to make you feel as comfortable as at home, but sophisticated enough to make you relish the experience; San Marco’s welcomes an array of daters, families-on-the-go, and old-girl reunions.

Fresh, fresh, fresh, handmade manicotti and quattro fromaggi lasagna taste as good as laying in a hammock in the shade on Nonna’s patio after a Sunday brunch. Ricotta is wrapped around sultry thin layers of fresh pasta, crepe style.  Gnocchi in vodka sauce is a perennial favourite, competing with veal parmesan for favourite dish. Inventive specials entice daily; ruby salad with beets and red cabbage, stuffed pork loin.

Six house wines and a fair selection of local and international wines by the bottle or glass; Vineland Estate, Angel’s Gate, Reif Estate, EastDell, Pillitteri, Jackson Triggs. Spreading the Good Life through southern Niagara, a second location has opened in Fonthill.
