Sambo’s Family Restaurant

Uniformed Catholic High School kids compete for tables with retirees, for breakfast available all day.  A simple menu of deep fried favourites and the fastest breakfast in town are just a few of the reasons people line up out the door for a weekend morning table, making this is one of the most popular greasy spoons in South Niagara.

Regulars favour the $3.55 breakfast; two eggs, sausage / bacon, home fries, toast and jam.  The club house is dynamite, with lots of mayo, crispy bacon and toppings piled high; real turkey, of course.  Always busy at peak times.

Lunch and dinner from $5 – 10.

LOVED this place! Went there with my friend who is a local and knows all the best spots. The service was fast, the food was fabulous, delicious and the portions were filling. Seems like lots of locals hang out here as my friend knew and talked with half the place…kind of like an extended family.
Thanks Sambos for a great breakfast.
Reminds me of another great breakfast place in another great Port…that being Rosie’s Diner in Port Dalhousie on Main Street.

Thank you for your comment, and for the heads-up on Rosie’s Diner. We’ll add it to our ever-growing list.
