Niagara Home Bakery

This little bakery has been in business over 75 years mainly for its old-fashioned charm, tasty baked goods and low prices.  Situated on bustling Queen St., this shop is a relished icon filling up sweet-tooths and serving hearty snacks to the hungry passersby. To some, it is a welcome respite from the more flashy establishments on this strip.

Especially in winter, this place is great to warm up from shopping, with a quick spinach pie, or Cornish pasty.  Traditional Scottish pies, Empires and Eccles Cakes, consistently draw the UK set.  Butter tarts, squares and cookies, you name it; not all are fancy, but you get what you expect.  A savoury filled pastry and a butter tart make a quaint snack for a stroll down to the water to enjoy the picturesque view.

Do you make Ekkle cake thier?

Did anybody ever answer your question? They are called ECCLES CAKES and the word “there” is not spelled “thier.”
