An old gas station turned craft store and bakery puts Ridgeville on the map as a charming curiosity for city goers craving a taste of the sun-kissed-country life. Whole-grains, fair-trade, natural and organic (wherever possible), this is truly a heart warming, body-mind little place, with quaint, antique, old-fashioned details.
The baked goods are exceptional; flavourful, moist and perfectly seasoned. The Mexican corn muffin is a savoury snack, loaded with cheese and hot peppers, and makes a great pick me up in the afternoon with a fair-trade coffee, in lieu of siesta time. Patrons vie for the few coveted seats inside, but in summer the patio has ample space. While your lunch is made to order, you can browse a small collection of gift items. Nature’s corner is also at the Pelham Market and gluten-free baked goods can be made to order.
