Tucked away behind rows of vines, a quiet, humble little wine-shed-cottage, covered in barn board and flowers, awaits visitors that come up the dusty drive. You can expect a quiet, intimate tasting experience here.
John Marynissen, the founding father of the winery, who helped to shape the wine industry in Niagara, began plantings some 35 years ago on this Four Mile Creek sub-appellation property. This is where Cabernet Sauvignon was born, as Marynissen is hailed for the oldest planting of Cab Sauv in Ontario. Deep, ruby reds are their signature.
