Tradition remains strong at Joe’s Meats and people from all over Niagara know Joe. A family run operation since 1958, Joe Ujfalussy has been preparing fresh meats and sausage out of a little store in the East Side of Port Colborne. Today, his son Steve continues with the same great recipes and service as his father. The 50’s era shop serves up homemade sausages and ready to eat meals; cabbage rolls, lasagna and beef stroganoff. With a couple days advance notice you can order bulk quantities of meat, or specialty cuts. The smoked sausages are a staple, and are great on the BBQ in a bun with lots of fried onions, or heated in a hot bowl of pea soup.
