PoCo’s favourite local haunt for Italian deli, coffees and sweets. This lively little joint is full of bright conversation among regulars over piping hot cappuccinos and macchiatos (decaf and regular). Claudia and Tony Spiteri have brought a little of the magic of the Italian lifestyle to Port Colborne, a long-overdue and welcome addition.
The deli-section boasts fresh meats, cheeses and antipasto, hot paninis and lunch specials from the hot table; lasagna, cabbage rolls, and eggplant parm. The tuxedo bar cake is a little bit of heaven; soft, buttery layers of vanilla melt into chocolate mousse and fudge. New moms, mouths full of prosciutto paninis, find a moment of reprieve when owner Claudia takes their babies for a spin through the dry-goods section, full of imported pasta, delicate olive oils and packaged hazelnut croissants.
With a new liquor license, enjoy wine, beer, or a selection of specialty coffees.
