Beamsville Bakery & Patisserie

Established in 1958, owner Klass Salverda, has maintained a reputation for outstanding Dutch baked goods; speculaas cookies, apple cakes, olie bollen- his Brood- en Baketbakken pedegree hanging proudly on the wall.  Fresh donuts, cupcakes, and french almond pastries; “everything here is amazing”, proclaim the regular-customers, loyal followers after just one visit.

The historic building, from the 1800’s, was orginally purchased as a bakery and some of the original equipment is still used today.  Klass’ children, Sandra and Ben, work proudly with their dad and hope to keep the three-generation tradition going strong.

A small wall of dried-good staples, a deli case and a freezer stocked with crockets, make this a go-to Beamsville pit-stop for  Dutch picnic delight.
