Artemis Restaurant

Angela and Gus Manolis have owned and operated this family run Greek resto for over 30 years on Fort Erie’s main artery to the U.S.A. Bridge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with mainly Greek favourites heavy on the chicken and lamb souvlaki. Lunch features fast mainstays of Greek cuisine alongside club sandwiches. The gyro with greek salad for lunch is favoured by locals. Dinner pulls out the stops with Saganaki Flambe (flaming pan-fried cheese) moussaka, and platters for multiple diners. Prepare to take your time, this is not fast food.

Named after the swift and beautiful goddess of the hunt, Artemis, also called ‘the Maiden of the Silver Bow’ and ‘Lady of the Wild Things’,  Artemis would run through fields laughing with her nymphs, but was fierce to any injustice that got in her path.  Angela proudly notes that present day rules for hunting were formed from Artemis’ legend.

Lunch $8 -11
Dinner $14 – 25
