Arabella’s Tea Room

A nostalgic, summer-time PoCo tradition; warm home baked biscuits with jam and tea are served on mix-and-match china dishes, and doilies, vintage linen, crochet handicrafts and blooms grace the tables. Quaint, sweet and wholesome; it’s church bazaar meets tea at Grandma’s.

Run by a team of 60+ dedicated volunteers, Arabella’s tea room is housed in the “rental home” of the original William’s Estate, with the adjacent museum taking up residence in the former home of Arabella Williams.  Admission to the museum and historic village are free. Beyond the picket-fenced garden, is the Port Library and playground, where the kids can be rewarded for sitting with good posture.

Two biscuits and tea $4 per person.

Sounds lovely! Would love to bring my mother in law and we both have celiac disease, would we be able to bring our own gluten free tea biscuits?

Thank you,
Sandra Shenton

Hi Sandra,

Thanks for your question. I think calling Arabella’s to check would be your best bet. I would imagine they have been asked this question before…
