The fruits of my labour

A light breeze, cool temp and a beautiful afternoon sun made this a perfect opportunity to pick weeds and play around with my manual camera.  I could get romantic about how much I love weeding and getting my fingernails full of earth.  Or  I could tell you how much I love the intense smell of tomato plants and lavender plants when you’re tending them.  I could wax philosophically about our ancient agricultural heritage, or primordial connection to the earth, but instead I’ll just show you some of the fruits of my labour; my garden and the shots I took.  I will tell you though, that for me, to be without a garden is a sad, sad fate indeed.
