King St. W Dundas – purveyors of all things fine, refined and artisanal – this quaint street has some serious following for Niagara’s hand crafted best.
Mornings begin at Detour Cafe- with the signature Flat White – simply the best coffee I’ve tasted.
Reminiscing my first flat white from Manual Labour Coffee, a mobile coffee truck, at a winery last winter, my server informs me that Detour Coffee Roasters partnered with them. Exceptional coffee that comes to you, even better!
Who else do I see on the menu? Our own De La Terre Bakery.
Across the street from the window, I spot Cumbrae Farms, who’s careful cuts of meat rub hands with only the best of the best of Niagara’s chefs.
Right next door is Picone’s Fine Foods. Brother to Niagara chef, Mark Picone, who’s name also graces vineyards and bottles.
Once I had crossed the street, a cheese store caught my eye. Upon closer inspection, there it was, Niagara Gold, and Comfort Cream, Upper Canada Cheese Co.’s handiwork.
